St John's Welcome

You are invited to come and join us at our Celebration of Sung Eucharist 11.00 am

And all things are from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the work of reconciliation.  God was reconciling to himself, the world, in Christ, not charging to them their offenses, and deposited in us the Word of reconciliation.  For Christ, then, we act as ambassadors, as if God is beseeching through us: we pray on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

Find us at St John’s Place, off Crown Street, Aberdeen AB11 6HE

If you are unable to join us for any reason, please visit a Place of Prayer near you and pray.

The journey of St John’s Church Community began nearly three hundred years ago, towards the end of the Scottish Reformation.  Our call is inscribed on the church bell on the tower, ‘Venite Adoremus’ – O Come, let us Worship – Christ the Lord.  We believe this Call to Prayer is of God, and we seek to do our Utmost for the Highest in this call and would love you to join us in that journey.  Thank you for visiting this website and please explore the life and witness of St John’s further either through this website or by visiting the church in person.
